Description:
Catalyst laborers/ refiner workers working in Arkema plant in Clear Lake on a 1 month assignment (give or take). Mandatory 80 hours a week & contractors can choose if they want to work day or night shift- both available (Everyone cannot be on days). Will be doing things such as cleaning tubes, fish taping, fresh air confined space. Task is easy & job could get very boring but candidate has to be there for 12 hours daily. 9502 Bayport Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77507 Arkema project scope: Tubular Project that involves - tube cleaning- fish tape-tube counting- repetitive work-confined space entry. - TWIC - Active in DISA - plant experience - per diem & hotel is paid out ($40 per diem plus hotel if not local) ---Per Diem: Maviro to provide per diem card if applicable terms for per diem. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. Vacuum catalyst or other materials, spread and load catalyst or other materials. Shovel catalyst or material to the outside of reactor. 2. Dismantle and/or Install various reactor hardware items. 3. Clean/wipe/wash/scrape relevant areas of the reactor or other enclosure. 4. Take samples of catalyst or other materials. 5. Video-tape specified areas of concern. 6. Assist in the removal or replacement of all items from or into the reactor. 7. Set up and dismantle all unloading and reloading equipment. Set up, utilize and dismantle screeners, drum dumpers, air locks, dust collectors, cooling/refrigeration units and various other major components. 8. Perform various degrees of maintenance on all equipment with direct and indirect supervision. 9. Promotes the company’s business by conducting work assignments with a positive attitude and professional safe manner. 10. Provide ground support during any HPA field work. 11. Cleans up work area and equipment after work is completed. Assists in maintaining a safe, clean work place, change room, locker area and customer’s plant. 12. Assists in the operation of equipment or power tools as directed and in accordance with established company, customer plant safety rules and the required regional legislation. 13. Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries or lost productivity. 14. Inspects PPE, equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area prior to starting any job. Corrects or advises immediate supervisor to correct deficiencies which may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity or which are inconsistent with the work order or customer’s requirement
