      This is a strategic yet hands-on role for a senior retail marketer ready to make an impact!

      Job Description

      Warehouse Stationery offers a dynamic landscape; multi-store formats/channels, consumer and business segments and categories – as Category Marketing Lead, take the lead in developing category marketing strategies and campaigns, connect with customer insights to design marketing propositions that grow market share, margin and brand love.

      Reporting into our Head of Retail Marketing and dotted line into GM Warehouse Stationery, leading 2 Marketing Manager direct reports and joining a great cohort of 4 other Category Marketing Leads (looking after respective categories across The Warehouse brand).

      A snapshot of your role:

      • Lead category marketing strategy for your portfolio to effectively drive category sales, profitability and brand growth
      • Plan and deliver integrated marketing, MTE, and promotional activities that support KPIs, trading calendars, and category performance across all channels.
      • Leverage customer data and insights to inform strategy, optimise category plans, and drive commercial growth through responsive, data-led decisions.
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, merchandising, operations, media, and omni-experience teams to deliver a cohesive marketing plans
      • Manage agreed aspects of Marketing A&P budget efficiently across activity to improve effectiveness and ROI
      • Foster a high performing team culture for your team of 2x direct reports
      • Lead and grow the BizRewards loyalty programme, driving new sign-ups, customer retention, and database reactivation through targeted campaigns and initiatives

      Qualifications

      We are looking for a solid operator. Someone strategic, forward looking who is comfortable to challenge thinking. But someone who can equally change gears and get into the doing, collaborating and influencing stakeholders along the way. Retail savvy with a head for B2B as well, influential and customer centric describe you down to a t. Your marketing background, and trading mindset are an absolute must. Our wish-list also includes:
