      Job Description

      We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to step into an exciting administrative role with a real difference! As a Category Specialist at Noel Leeming, you will be part of our merchandise team, supporting the day-to-day operational administration, acting as a key contact for supplier relationships, and providing buying assistance to our Category Buyers.

      Your key responsibilities will include:

      • Managing product orders efficiently, ensuring they are placed, tracked, and delivered on schedule

      • Raising purchase orders and managing barcode processes

      • Maintaining accurate product data and imagery

      • Handling supplier invoices and updating supplier information

      • Assisting with advertising and promotional plans

      • Monitoring and reporting on sales results

      • Providing general administrative and systems support

      • Supporting key seasonal events such as Christmas, Easter, and Mother’s Day by managing samples and critical paths

      Qualifications

      With plenty of opportunities to learn and develop your skills in real time, you’ll be a proactive self-starter who thrives in the fast-paced retail environment. You’ll be able to collaborate with internal teams and build strong relationships with external suppliers. No two days will be the same!

      We are looking for someone who is:

      • Highly organised with excellent prioritisation and time management skills

      • A natural problem-solver with a curious mindset and a drive to find solutions

      • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and analytical skills

      • A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing

      • Strong administrative experience and robust organisational skills

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

      • A passion for retail and an eagerness to work in a dynamic environment

      • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
