      As our Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Director, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the further development of our Purpose “to expand the way the world sees beauty by empowering the ExtraOrdinary in each of us”, and to positively impact our colleagues, candidates, customers and communities.

      You will develop and implement our global D,E&I strategy and initiatives, and will play a leading role in developing our even more diverse and inclusive culture at Sephora. In this newly created role, you will report to the Global Chief HR Officer and will closely partner with our Chief Purpose Officer and regional D,E&I representatives.

      You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

      Strategy & Planning

      • Build Sephora’s comprehensive global strategy to accelerate our D,E&I agenda.
      • Ensure a strong connection between global objectives and regional activities by partnering with D,E&I representatives to share best practices, coordinate program development and amplify our actions in each location.

      Cultural Change and Communication

      • Lead the cultural change movement towards an even more diverse and inclusive culture at Sephora, specifically related to Gender, Disability and under-represented populations, across all levels of our organization.
      • Work closely with the Global Purpose, Brand and Communications Teams and develop a strong community of D,E&I representatives to support the internal and external promotion of our D,E&I strategy and activities, such as our Global D,E&I Celebration Days.

      Talent Management and Development

      • Review the extent to which our current Talent and Learning & Development practices support our diversity goals in partnership with internal functional experts.
      • Collaborate with the Regional Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding teams to increase the hiring of our diverse workforce.
      • Collaborate with the Global Functions HR Director and regional HR Teams to embed D,E&I in a systematic and innovative way across our key HR talent processes through the full employee life cycle: Performance management, succession planning, employee engagement and retention, etc.
      • Collaborate with the Global Learning Director and regional HR Teams in our regions/local markets to develop or acquire training and development initiatives to support our diversity strategy overall together with retention for under-represented populations.

      Communities

      • Manage relationships with external partners and develop new partnerships to make Sephora a key actor of D,E&I externally (e.g., Catalyst, United Nations, Valuable 500, and more).
      • Support the creation of Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) internally. Drive best practice sharing and global collaboration on this topic.

      Compliance & Accountability

      • Create mechanisms to hold the organization accountable for its commitments towards D,E&I and measure progress. Share regular updates with key stakeholders. Educate our organization on how they can contribute to our progress.
      • Build systems and practices for continuous monitoring and benchmarking of the landscape.
      • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations of our global initiatives in partnership with local/regional representatives, and with LVMH group policies.

      EXPERIENCE

      • Higher education in Human Resources or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR at a global company, including 3-5 years of driving inclusion and diversity initiatives.
      • Demonstrable passion for Inclusion and Diversity.
      • Experience working across networks, functions, and geographies– Engaging Senior leaders, partnering with multiple internal stakeholders and developing global networks of employees and external organizations.
      • Experience in leading culture and people transformation projects with company-wide impact.
      • Awareness of inclusion trends, practices and current events shaping our internal and external landscape and approach.

      Position based in Neuilly sur Seine.
