      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct patient intake by measuring and recording vital signs, medical history, and performing routine screenings
      - Engage with patients throughout appointments, reporting changes in conditions to the PCP and other clinical personnel
      - Manage patient communication, including processing phone messages and returning calls
      - Assist with basic medical procedures such as changing dressings and applying bandages under physician supervision
      - Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required
      - Must be bilingual and able to pass a formal proficiency exam
      - Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant
      - 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired
      - BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training
      - Experience working with geriatric patients
      - Familiarity with EClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems
      - Strong analytical skills with experience in claims/quality reports
      - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
