      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Facilitate the procurement of insurance authorizations for procedures and post-operative care
      - Validate and educate physician offices on successful authorization processes
      - Collect and distribute feedback from coding, billing, and denial management to promote improvement
      - Act as a centralized resource for authorization procurement across various practice sites
      - Apply process improvement methodologies to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of related experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting
      - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare insurance verification and/or billing
      - Knowledge of clinical terminology and patient treatment plans for authorization purposes
      - Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with medical staff
      - Proficiency in computer systems and data management

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional coursework in business, computers, or healthcare administration
      - Experience in a medical or surgical specialty clinic
      - Current working knowledge of hospital operations and managed care reimbursement
      - General understanding of the revenue cycle, including billing and coding processes
      - Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
