      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Facilitate the successful procurement of insurance authorizations for procedures and post-operative care
      - Validate obtained authorizations and provide feedback to a multi-disciplinary team
      - Act as a subject matter expert on precertification and payor authorization processes
      - Ensure continuous improvement by analyzing feedback from coding, billing, and denial management
      - Standardize and ensure consistent procurement of authorizations across all practice sites

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of related experience or training
      - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting
      - Two years of experience related to healthcare insurance verification and/or billing
      - Knowledge of clinical terminology and understanding of patient treatment plans
      - Strong oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical capabilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional coursework in business, computers, or healthcare administration
      - Experience in a medical or surgical specialty clinic
      - Current knowledge of hospital operations, utilization management, and managed care reimbursement
      - General understanding of revenue cycle processes, including billing and coding
      - Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
