What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet patients in a friendly and empathetic manner to support their success in therapy
- Ensure effective communication with patients, physicians, and staff regarding patient care
- Maintain complex schedules and accommodate patient needs for therapy visits
- Verify and explain insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations
- Enter data accurately into electronic medical and billing record systems, including billing changes and follow-ups
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience in a patient-centered healthcare position is an advantage
- Experience in customer contact and service positions is useful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid basic computer skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Candidates must reside in states with Team Rehab clinics: Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Georgia
