- A Cerner RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
- Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining these critical systems in a healthcare setting.
- Here are some key responsibilities and requirements for this role.
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of RIS and PACS systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Handle data archiving, storage, and retrieval, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Good understanding of HL7 and preferably FHIR. Prior knowledge of PDF image linking with HL7.
- Provide support and training to healthcare staff on using RIS and PACS systems effectively.
- Should be able to co-ordinate with Integration analyst to pass on system requirements for RAD and PACS workflow.
- Manage the integration of RIS and PACS with other hospital information systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Thorough understanding of Cerner Radnet Module.
- Basic understanding of Cerner Power chart and HL7 data flow.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging data and reports.
- Perform regular system upgrades and apply updates to maintain optimal performance.
- Experience in Clinical Cerner tools such as Cerner Radnet, Cerner Power chart, basic FSI tools.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, life sciences, or a related field. Typically, 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with RIS and PACS systems, preferably in a healthcare setup.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management, and excellent communication abilities.
