What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review warnings/errors in EPIC related to inappropriate code or modifier combinations
- Maintain knowledge of insurance, CPT coding, and diagnosis guidelines
- Verify provider chosen codes for non-invasive procedures
- Run daily reconciliation reports to ensure all charges are captured
- Coordinate with providers to resolve documentation issues impacting revenue

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- One of the following certifications: AAPC (CPC, CPC-A), PMIC (CMC), AHIMA (CCS-P)
- 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
- Proficiency in computer systems and software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Certified Coding Specialist I in a healthcare setting
