What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist nurses by performing various basic care activities essential for patient comfort and needs
- Dress, groom, bathe, feed, and record vital signs of patients
- Answer call lights, assist in toileting, and provide oral and nail care
- Administer medication as directed by a Physician or Nurse and document accordingly
- Clean rooms and change bed linens to maintain a hygienic environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record as per agency policy
- Certification as a Nurse Assistant or Home Health Care Aide as required by state licensure
- Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, and reaching

- Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology and procedures
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Willingness to undergo additional training and certification as needed
