What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide supportive care to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene
- Monitor and document changes in resident conditions, reporting to the Charge Nurse
- Encourage proper nutrition and hydration for residents
- Implement infection control practices according to facility policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- State of Kansas Nurse's Aide Certification
- Ability to perform all aspects of resident care
- Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control practices
- Understanding of resident rights and confidentiality policies
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with ADL computer systems and documentation practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
