What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Remain compliant with all PHI protocols and requirements
- Process prior authorization requests within required time frame
- Communicate with providers regarding status of authorization submission
- Follow standard operating procedures to resolve incoming calls
- Adhere to security policies and procedures for handling confidential data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- 2 years of relevant experience as a pharmacy technician
- Valid pharmacy technician license/certification/registration
- General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
