      Shift:

      Description:

      • Floor stock medications are refilled and appropriate patient charged
      • Pyxis training is completed with proper knowledge in stocking machines, reviewing reports, and handling nursing concerns.
      • Restocks, programs and trains others in automated dispensing machine on nursing units and ancillary departments
      • Knowledge of location of all hospital departments and services is necessary for timely completion of responsibilities
      • Lists appropriate products for re-order of supply when needed
      • Competently handle packaging equipment and documentation. Associated appropriate signatures and checks are documented
      • Trains new associates on dispensing responsibilities
      • Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Must have National Pharmacy Technician Certification or in Lieu of this Certification a Licensed Pharmacist Intern is required.
      • Must be registered by the State of Florida
      • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
      • Minimum of two (2) years additional education and/or experience
