What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Read and interpret health record documentation to identify diagnoses and procedures for outpatient visits
- Assess health record documentation adequacy to support assigned diagnoses and procedures
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and coding terminology to assign accurate codes
- Review and perform data charge entry for hospital and physician patient accounting systems
- Organize and prioritize assigned work queues daily

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
- Certification in one of the following: CCA, CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
- Ability to work under supervision and manage remote work responsibilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management
- Two (2) years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
