Job Description
Are you passionate about animals and their well-being? Are you looking to experience a busy fast paced veterinary environment where you can learn and grow? We are hiring! Plessis Veterinary Hospital is a full-service companion animal hospital located in Transcona. We are currently seeking a certified veterinary assistant to add to our growing veterinary team! The position is open to full-time applications with shifts varying between mornings, evenings and weekends. Starting wage for this position is $16.50/hour and up, depending on experience. Our ideal team member is enthusiastic, energetic and eager to handle cats and dogs! They will excel at collaboration and assist our veterinarians, RVTs, assistants and receptionists in varying tasks. As a veterinary assistant you will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment while ensuring our pets receive the highest standard of care. Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; however we are happy to train the right person. The clinic provides a positive, highly inclusive work environment.
