      Job Details
      Responsibilities:
      Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will lead all financial operations, accounting functions, and financial reporting
      This person will play a critical role in supporting the organization's mission and ensuring the effective utilization of their financial resources
      The CFO will also serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing guidance on financial matters and fostering a culture of diversity & education
      Financial Management And Reporting
      Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's goals and objectives
      Monitor and manage the organization's financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
      Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to provide insights for decision-making by the management team and the Board of Directors
      Budgeting And Financial Planning
      Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and comprehensive budgets aligned with organizational priorities
      Provide financial analysis and guidance to support programmatic planning, fundraising initiatives, and strategic decision-making
      Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and collaborate with department heads to implement corrective actions as needed
      Compliance And Risk Management
      Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, including nonprofit accounting standards, tax regulations, and grant funding guidelines
      Oversee the preparation of financial documents for audits, ensuring accurate and timely completion
      Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management practices to safeguard the organization's assets
      Grant And Contract Management
      Provide financial oversight and reporting for grant-funded programs, ensuring compliance with funding source requirements
      Collaborate with program managers to develop budgets and financial narratives for grant proposals and ensure accurate tracking of grant expenditures
      Monitor grant and contract compliance, reporting deadlines, and deliverables
      Strategic Financial Planning
      Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's long-term strategic plans, providing financial insights and analysis
      Qualifications:
      10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally in a Healthcare environment
      Proven success at leading and managing professionals, including team development and efficient deployment through a practiced coaching and a people-focused management style
      Ability to partner with CEO/President and other Board Members to drive the future direction of the organization
