The team operates both globally and regionally with regional presence in EMEA, US, APAC and a GBS organization.
Strategic development is managed globally with engagement across all regions with teams staffed across regions that can engage directly with impacted end user and Technology teams.
Senior members of the team will interact with the GBAM Finance Senior Leadership Team, their peers in other CFO organizations and equivalents in Risk and Operations.
Executes project deliverables while working with various partners and user community
Completes required documentation, business analysis, testing, and operational readiness activities within project timelines
Identifies upstream and downstream impacts associated with project related changes and/or decisions
Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Control requirements
Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology and Project Management
Business analysis and project lifecycle for changes in GBGM subledgers. Contributing to the development of our subledger infrastructure and how it interacts with both upstream data sources and downstream reporting and general ledger
Partnering closely with key stakeholders in Finance, Change, Technology, Operations and Front Office organizations to manage and drive several strategic Finance projects across all products and businesses
Defining testing regimes, criteria, and the coordination of user acceptance testing with the GBGM Finance teams and wider technology groups
Training and supporting GBGM Finance Controllers to ensure smooth roll out of new functionalities
2 years of experience operating in a Business Analyst/PM capacity driving transformational change within Finance
Good working knowledge of Business Analysis tools and techniques
Prior experience working on a project delivery
Understanding of financial products and their accounting treatment
Understanding of system and data flows from front office trade capture through to sub-ledgers, into the General Ledger
A self-starter, that is organized and detail oriented
Strong communication and presentation skills
A strong business partner with an ability to influence effectively
Ability to operate within a global environment working with stakeholders from multiple locations and time zones
Preferable experience or understanding of SQL type platforms

This job is responsible for managing a portfolio of medium/large projects which enhance Finance systems, processes and solutions across several lines of business (LOB) in compliance with applicable Enterprise and Chief Financial Officer Group policies. Key responsibilities include working closely with the LOB, Change Management, Technology and other partners to execute the project plan. Job expectations include performing day-to-day project activities and being actively involved in the execution of project deliverables.
