Cascade Christian Schools, a high-quality, independent, interdenominational school system, is accepting applications for a childcare breaker at our Puyallup Early Learning Center. Founded in 1992, Cascade Christian Schools serves infants through grade twelve and today is a thriving school district serving students and families throughout Pierce County. Focusing on Christ-centered education, Cascade Christian Schools is dedicated to developing discerning leaders who are spiritually, personally, and academically prepared to impact their world. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement predetermined lesson plan and manage the classroom while the teacher is on break Maintain a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom Facilitate activities that meet the group and individual needs of students Promote educational progression of students REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age Have a High School Diploma or GED Flexible to assist in classrooms as needed Excellent communication and people skills Able to work with a variety of students of ages Ability to lift 30 lbs. Ability to attend job-related activities during non-work hours (compensated) Prefer a minimum one-year certification or two years of experience in Early Childhood Education Willingness to meet CPR/Current First Aid and other regulatory requirements Willingness to obtain CDA coursework Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement Must be willing to abide by all current Cascade Christian COVID protocols WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:15 am - 3:45 pm SALARY RANGE: $16.00-$19.25Notice
