- A High School Diploma or GED (required).
- You are 21 years of age or older.
- One year of experience working with children, preferably birth to seven years required.
- An Associate's Degree, Child Development Accreditation Certificate, or coursework in child development, early childhood education, or childcare preferred.
- Are able to secure and maintain a valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
- Compensation: Hourly: Range is between $16.31-$17.38 per hour, offers are commensurate with experience. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs. The Child Care Worker implements the Crisis Nursery program to ensure the safety, wellbeing, basic needs and general care of children ages birth thru six years attending the Crisis Nursery programming. The Child Care Worker for the Crisis Nursery also works closely with the parents of the children to assess immediate family needs, make referrals for services and identify community resources that may reduce stressors impacting their ability to care for their child(ren).
