      Summary:

      The Fort Worth Urgent Care Clinic is seeking a Child Life Specialist who will be responsible for providing essential life experiences, family support & education to patients and families in the health care system. The child life specialist collaborates with other health care providers, as well as the community, to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience. NOTE: Eligible applicants must have completed a Child Life Fellowship/Internship

      $5000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants

      Required Education/Qualifications :

      • Bachelor's (or) Master's Degree in Child Life, Child Development, or a closely related field.

      • Completion of a child life internship.

      • Certified Child Life Specialist (or eligible) within one year of hire.

      • American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS is required within 60 days of hire.
