- Following and enforcing company procedures as outlined in the Quality Manual
- Adhering to communication procedure following the proper chain-of-command and ensuring inter-department communication as needed.
- Following and enforcing applicable department work instructions
- Following specifications, manuals, checklists, and/or other instructions as pertains to your position
- Working closely with his/her manager to determine the proper number of employees needed, training and maintaining adequate personnel to meet the needs of the departments under his/her control.
- Processing work through the department while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Supervising and ensuring that all employees are adequately advised of their duties, their responsibilities and their accountability.
- Documenting performance
- Monitoring employee attendance, quality of work, and productivity.
- Properly assigning work to the appropriately trained employees.
- Ensuring correctness of all output associated with the work and/or operations of the departments under his/her supervision.
- Maintaining a safe work environment, reporting safety issues to Health and Safety.
- Keeping all equipment in good working order.
- Instructing, leading and motivating employees, and when necessary; initiating merit increase paperwork or appropriate progressive disciplinary action.
- Cleanliness (i.e. housekeeping) in all areas.
- Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
- Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
