- Develop safe designs, contribute to safety pre-qualifications and lead machine safety initiatives
- Be responsible for realization of Circularity plans investment projects in breweries around the world as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Review incoming technologies and development of the implementation of potentially feasible technologies into breweries operations.
- Develop and maintain a network of relevant stakeholders within and outside of Heineken
- Design conceptual and basic process engineering solutions, as input for cost estimates and Fund Applications. Further develop detailed process engineering and follow-up during execution
- Ensure the closure of raw material cycles, including jobs in repair, renewable energy, waste and resource management. They form the core of the circular economy.
- A gross monthly salary between € 6,538.00 and € 9,340.00.

- A Bachelor degree in either mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics or process engineering
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience within Supply Chain projects
- Understand dynamics in the FMCG industry and has proven experience in the technology and the digital environment.
- Fluent in English. Dutch, German or Spanish is a plus
- In depth knowledge in the following fields: Industrial refrigeration and heat pumps, Steam and hot water generation, CO2 recovery systems and compressed air systems
- Creative but most of all innovative and target oriented
As a Circularity Engineering Lead you will be responsible for translating HEINEKEN’s and customer needs into conceptual choices following into engineering solutions. You develop, design, build, extend and revamp technologies that contribute to achieve the Circularity targets of the beverage production and brewing equipment. To achieve this you will do it against the optimal costs and optimal schedule in order with safety politics and NetZero targets of The Heineken N.V.

How does the department look like?
As a Circularity Engineering Lead you work closely with the other Projects & Engineering Teams and Members. Together you identify, investigate and adopt cutting edge technologies, where these offer a distinct operational advantage. Next to this you work closely together with local and regional Brewery Management/shop floor and other key stakeholders all over the world. You contribute to internal initiatives and deliver projects with the Net Zero Project team in agreed budget range.
