      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare and compile agendas for all City Council meetings
      - Attend Council meetings and maintain accurate official minutes
      - Manage official municipal records in accordance with the Records Retention and Disposition Schedule
      - Administer oaths for new Councilmembers and other appointed officials
      - Oversee the City's public records, legal notices, and agenda publication processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree
      - 4-6 years of professional-level office experience
      - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
      - Experience coordinating Council-related matters
      - 4-6 years of management or supervisory experience

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 4+ years of experience in a municipal government setting
      - Experience with municipal clerk and/or government records software
      - NC Notary Public Certification
