      We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with experience in mid to high-rise building projects to join our Buildings & Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects while ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards. This role involves monitoring all quality-related activities, conducting specialized inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Oversee and monitor all quality-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.
      • Conduct specialized construction inspections on small to large and complex capital projects.
      • Assess and determine acceptance or rejection of services and completed work.
      • Ensure project plans and specifications are properly implemented.
      • Prepare daily QA inspection reports and track corrective actions.
      • Evaluate the effectiveness of quality control plans (PQP/ITP) and implementing procedures.
      • Verify that all required construction quality control sampling, testing, and documentation are performed correctly.
      • Conduct site surveillance and generate reports of observations and test results.
      • Coordinate project material testing efforts to ensure compliance with project specifications.
      • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project documents, drawings, and scope of work.
      • Assist the Project QA/QC Manager with the administration, planning, and scheduling of the Project Quality Program.
      • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with contract documents and industry standards.
      • Report deficiencies to Contractors’ QA/QC representatives for corrective action.
      • Issue and track the status of nonconformance reports and customer complaints.
      • Review QA/QC inspections of materials and equipment upon receipt to ensure correctness and compliance with project documents.
      • Participate in weekly QA/QC meetings to discuss project progress and quality concerns.
      • Maintain, control, and distribute project quality documentation.
      • Assist with internal and external quality audits as directed by the Project Construction Manager.
      • Collect and analyze data for statistical method reporting.
      • Perform other related duties as required to ensure project success.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
      • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in mid- to high-rise building and infrastructure or construction projects.
      • Additional relevant construction project inspection experience may be considered in place of minimum education and licensing requirements.
      • Must successfully pass a drug test, physical exam, and background check.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in construction inspection, project management, or engineering.
      • Strong background in Civil & Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection scopes.
      • Preference for candidates with experience in high-rise, mid-rise, or infrastructure projects.
      • Knowledge of the National Building Code of the Philippines, Structural, Fire Code of the Philippines, Philippine Electrical Code, Mechanical Engineering Code, NFPA Life Safety Code, and International Building Code.
      • Active licenses and certifications must be maintained as a condition of employment.
      • Familiarity with construction quality management tools and industry guidelines (ASME, AWS, ACI, API, ICC, NACE) is a plus.
