      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Direct and oversee multiple complex civil engineering projects simultaneously
      - Conduct field investigations and site visits for observation of construction
      - Supervise teams to ensure accurate completion of projects on time and within budget
      - Prepare and present public reports, including bid proposals and environmental impact statements
      - Provide technical advice to in-house team members, clients, and contractors

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BA/BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
      - Minimum of 5 years total experience in civil engineering, including at least 1 year of supervising engineering teams
      - Current registration in the State of Hawaii for civil engineering or ability to obtain a license
      - Excellent written and oral communication skills
      - Proficiency in computer-aided design software including AutoCAD and MS Office

      - Demonstrated knowledge and experience with State of Hawaii design standards and regulations
      - Experience in public speaking and presenting project materials effectively
      - Involvement in professional organizations such as ASCE or AWWA
      - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-focused environment
      - Advanced knowledge of current engineering principles and practices
