2721 N Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85004 United States of AmericaUnder the direction of the Repwest Insurance Company Claims Manager, the Claims Adjuster II investigates, evaluates, and resolves complex auto, rental truck, property, and general liability claims, including medium to high exposure bodily injury and litigated matters. This role requires knowledge of state Minimum Financial Responsibility (MFR) laws, rental truck contract provisions, supplemental coverage, and litigation handling. The position works closely with U-Haul Legal and outside counsel, reviewing and aggressively negotiating settlements with attorneys.
The adjuster performs a variety of duties requiring in-depth knowledge, specialized training, and experience related to risk evaluation, product offerings, and insurance investigation techniques. Responsibilities include conducting thorough investigations, making accurate liability determinations, and negotiating effectively while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Additional responsibilities may include managing overflow claim assignments from other teams and assisting with special projects as needed.
