      Job Description

      Claims - Health & Dental Insurance /Toronto or Montreal /Work from home/permanent, full-time

      Junior Analyst is accountable for processing health and dental claims according to standards, policies and procedures.

      Key responsibilities:

      • Analyze and process health and dental claims.

      • Collect the required information needed to process a claim, determine the reasonable cost and make a decision to accept or decline according to the terms of the contract.

      • Validates the documents received, ensure providers are accepted and ensures the appropriate controls (R&C, maximums, etc.) based on his/her level of authority.

      • Responsible to become more knowledgeable and expert in his/her ability to process all types of claims with autonomy.

      • Maintain a good level of production and quality.

      • Communicate with members and providers for any missing information in order to meet established TAT’s.

      • Perform all other tasks required to contribute in accomplishing the teams objectives.

      • Propose continuous improvement ideas.

      What You would bring to iA:

      • College diploma (DCS) or equivalent experience

      • Not required but an asset or good to have: a minimum of two years of experience in the payment of health and dental claims

      • Demonstrate analytical skills and good judgment

      • Must be able to work independently and demonstrate availability

      • Commitment to respecting the confidentiality of the information with which he/she comes into contact
