What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a phone resource for policyholders who have an active claim, providing timely, empathetic, and professional support
- Process and research First Notice of Loss (FNOL) to ensure claims are correctly associated with policies
- Document claims activity with detailed notes and diary entries
- Route mail, reports, and escalations to the appropriate claims adjusters
- Assist with processing payments, drafting correspondence, and organizing claims documents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Claims adjuster license and property claims experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines precisely
- Insurance-related certifications a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a claims analyst role or related field
- Familiarity with insurance processes and claims handling
- Proficiency in using insurance-related software and technology
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles
