      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Handle assigned claims with minimal direction, ensuring timely resolution of complex and catastrophic losses
      - Determine proper policy coverages and apply best claims practices to conclude cases
      - Maintain accurate claims payments in accordance with policy provisions and state mandates
      - Serve as a mentor to less experienced claims associates and assist with training
      - Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain current knowledge of industry practices and local market pricing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance field/property claims handling or adjusting
      - Proficiency in Xactimate and experience writing estimates
      - Strong background in construction-related claims, including residential, roofing, and water mitigation
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Ability to travel up to 30% of the time on short notice

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with large loss claims handling
      - Advanced degrees in law or related disciplines
      - Completion of required claims certification schools/courses
      - Professional development such as IIA or CPCU
