What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage lower-level, non-complex workers’ compensation claims under supervision
- Confirm policy coverage and determine claim validity and compensability
- Establish reserves and authorize payments within delegated authority limits
- Communicate claim status with customers, claimants, and clients
- Assist other claims professionals with more complex claims as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred
- State Certification as an Experienced Examiner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
