What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive, review, and investigate all incidents reported to the department, including cargo damage or loss and driver injury
- Gather necessary statements, documentation, and evidence from customers, drivers, and third parties
- Evaluate coverage, determine liability, and recommend appropriate claim resolutions
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal stakeholders regarding claim status and outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date and organized claim files in accordance with established processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- High attention to detail and sound judgment when reviewing facts and documentation
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to professionally de-escalate hostile situations
- Comfort communicating frequently with customers during sensitive claim scenarios
- Ability to work cross-functionally and understand the impact of claims on transportation and operations teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
