      Job Overview

      This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and order within a controlled environment (cleanroom) to ensure the production of high-quality products. The Cleanroom Specialist plays a crucial role in preventing contamination and adhering to strict quality control standards.

      • Cleanroom Maintenance:
        • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of the cleanroom environment, including floors, equipment, and fixtures.
        • Perform weekly cleaning and disinfection of the cleanroom environment, including walls and ceilings.
        • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to minimize contamination risks.
        • Conduct regular inspections of the cleanroom environment to identify and address any potential contamination sources
      • Office Cleaning
        • Empty trash
        • Vacuum carpets
        • Mop floors
        • Clean bathooms
      • Quality Control:
        • Partner with the Quality Assurance department to address excursions of environmental monitoring parameters such as organism growth and elevated particle counts to ensure compliance with established standards.
        • Assist with investigations and resolve any deviations from established cleanroom standards.
        • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
      • Safety and Compliance:
        • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the cleanroom environment.
        • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
        • Comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
        • Participate in safety training programs and maintain a safe working environment.
      • Documentation and Record Keeping:
        • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cleaning activities, inspections, and maintenance procedures.
        • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
      • Other Duties:
        • Assist with non-direct compounding activities such as supply cleaning, product inspection, labeling, and packaging.
        • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cleanroom operations and quality.
        • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Preferred Qualifications

      Education

      High School Diploma or Equivalent

      Experience

      Previous housekeeping or cleanroom experience.
