      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform daily audits on client data for completeness and accuracy of coding to ensure appropriateness for reimbursement
      - Respond to provider appeals while meeting client turnaround time and key performance indicators (KPI) goals
      - Provide feedback to Management/Development Teams on enhancements for editing and efficiency
      - Familiarize yourself with claims payment policies and processing, including CMS, Medicaid regulations, and coding guidelines
      - Complete all assigned responsibilities and special projects as outlined in performance evaluations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Active professional license as a Registered Nurse in your current state of residence (BSN preferred)
      - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in providing direct patient care
      - Coding certification preferred (Outpatient - CPC, CCS, or CCS-P) or required to obtain within the first year of employment
      - Required to obtain NY Independent Insurance Adjuster licensure within the first four months of employment
      - Strong working knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, and treatment practices

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with high-pressure production environments
      - Excellent personal computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
      - Ability to absorb new information quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills
      - Experience in auditing or coding roles
