      Job summary

      An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Audit Administrative Assistant to join the Stockport NHS FT clinical audit team. The team supports clinical and non-clinical teams within the Trust with the facilitation of clinical audits, projects and with the development and supply of health care documents.

      The office assistant will be one of three and the roles involve the location and transporting of patient case notes, the printing and delivery of health care documents, inputting data to various computer systems, diary management, minute taking, administration of clinical audit forums and general office administration.

      There are physical elements to the role and therefore the post holder needs to be mobile and in good health.

      The post requires data input to various computer systems; requiring speed and accuracy, updating Excel spreadsheets and documentation using Word software.

      The post holder is required to have a positive, can do approach to their work and will be required to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player.

      Main duties of the job

      The post supports team members with diary management, consumable ordering, attendance recording, arranging meetings, booking rooms, coordinating and taking minutes at various meetings, the retrieval and distribution of case notes to and from departments or located in the Evolve system. Data input, updates to documents templates and printing clinical documentation. Speed and accuracy are both required for this role.

      An assistant may be required to be responsible for one of the work areas but will be trained on other aspects to allow for cover & flexibility within the team.

      Responsible to the Clinical Audit Manager, the post-holder will provide support as required to the Clinical Audit Department and personal assistance to the Clinical Audit Managers.

      The responsibilities of the post include supporting team members with diary management, consumable ordering, attendance recording, arranging meetings, updating records pre and following clinical audit & quality forums, booking rooms, coordinating and taking minutes at various meetings, the retrieval and distribution of case notes to and from departments or locating in Evolve.       • Retrieve and distribute case notes using the hospital PAS system.
      • Organise rooms and support planning of meetings/CA events
      • Keeping accurate records for various work areas.

      • Prioritise and organise your workload dependent upon demands and deadlines.
      • Deliver documentation in accordance with schedule.
