What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews of behavioral health services, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Assess age-appropriate testing and evaluation tools to determine the suitability of ABA therapy
- Coordinate timely and cost-effective care to the appropriate service level
- Document and communicate effectively with Health Partners, Care Managers, and Discharge Planners for care coordination
- Identify quality issues and refer members for Case Management as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience
- Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA
- MCG Certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in utilization review and/or case management
- Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare/Commercial systems
- Strong knowledge of Evidence-Based Care, including MCG and ASAM criteria
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
