What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate care and services for ESRD patients, tracking vital signs and lab values
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining safety and comfort
- Supervise a group of patients alongside PCTs in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Build long-term relationships with patients and families, addressing their unique treatment needs
- Float to various facilities as needed during and after training
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- At least 18 months of registered nursing experience
- Dialysis Charge RN readiness approval by the clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA
- Completion of training approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg)
- Supervisory experience and willingness to supervise others
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program
