      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct concurrent reviews of inpatient medical records to identify documentation improvement opportunities
      - Collaborate with caregivers to ensure accurate medical record documentation
      - Ensure documentation adheres to guidelines set by The Joint Commission, Medicare, and third-party payers
      - Assist healthcare providers in the patient care documentation process
      - Support initiatives aimed at improving documentation quality to enhance coding processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
      - Active Registered Nurse license
      - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
      - Knowledge of ICD-10-CM diagnosis and procedure coding
      - Understanding of documentation guidelines from The Joint Commission and Medicare

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 2-4 years of relevant experience in clinical documentation improvement
      - Familiarity with quality measures and Case Mix Index (CMI) concepts
      - Experience in a healthcare setting focused on documentation accuracy
