      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Facilitate accurate documentation in medical records for patient care and reimbursement
      - Conduct extensive record reviews and interact with physicians and health information professionals
      - Participate actively in team meetings and staff education
      - Apply knowledge of pathophysiology, regulatory requirements, and patient safety indicators
      - Utilize critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills in documentation processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum educational requirement: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Information Management
      - At least five years of recent adult acute care experience in relevant medical settings or hospital inpatient coding
      - Current state Registered Nurse license or active AHIMA credentials (RHIA)
      - Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various healthcare professionals
      - Must not have been excluded from participation in any federally funded programs

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Active credential through ACDIS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or CDI Apprenticeship)
      - Active credentials through AHIMA (CCS)
