      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform concurrent analytical reviews of clinical and coding data to enhance physician documentation
      - Conduct initial and follow-up reviews of patient records to ensure accurate Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) assignments
      - Query physicians regarding missing, unclear, or conflicting health record documentation
      - Educate healthcare providers on clinical documentation improvement and guidelines
      - Collaborate with coding professionals to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate DRG assignments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist
      - Additional 2 years in an acute care setting or relevant experience
      - Graduate of an accredited nursing program, PA, NP, or medical school, or Associate's degree with CCDS certification
      - Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) certification required
      - Must reside in one of the approved states for remote work

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel
      - Prior experience reviewing Patient Safety Indicators (PSI) or specialized mortality reviews
