      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct detailed retrospective and prospective reviews of provider documentation to ensure accurate ICD-10-CM coding
      - Validate that diagnoses meet MEAT (Monitored, Evaluated, Assessed, Treated) criteria and comply with coding guidelines
      - Partner with physicians and care teams to provide feedback and education on documentation best practices
      - Prepare detailed audit reports and participate in audit follow-up activities, including root-cause analysis
      - Collaborate with population health teams to track coding completeness and prioritize high-impact patient cohorts

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Registered Nurse (RN) with current license plus 4 years of inpatient clinical experience in relevant areas, or
      - Coding professional with CCS certification and 6 years of inpatient coding experience with education in anatomy/physiology and pharmacology
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, HCC models, and CMS risk adjustment guidelines
      - Detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), or Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Certification
      - 2 years of experience in Risk Coding, provider education, or audit experience in a billing coding role
