      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Exhibit Mount Carmel Service Excellence Behavior Standards by demonstrating friendliness, effective communication, and professionalism
      - Promote a Culture of Safety by adhering to policies and procedures to prevent workplace injuries and adverse outcomes
      - Provide nursing care and ensure patient safety while promoting evidence-based practices
      - Conduct concurrent reviews of patient records to ensure documentation accuracy and clarity
      - Communicate documentation discrepancies and coding definitions to physicians and provide educational sessions on documentation requirements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate/Diploma Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of acute care medical or surgical experience required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
      - Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
      - Minimum of 5 years acute care medical or surgical experience required
      - Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organization, and prioritization skills
      - Ability to analyze, interpret, and assimilate information from various sources

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in Utilization/Case Management, managed care, or Clinical Documentation
      - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding conventions and DRG methodology
      - Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentials
