What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct concurrent reviews of inpatient medical records to improve physician documentation quality
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and coders to facilitate comprehensive medical record documentation
- Provide education on compliance, coding, and clinical documentation issues to internal stakeholders
- Identify patterns and trends in documentation to enhance overall processes
- Document conferences and coaching sessions with physicians to improve documentation accuracy

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Nursing required
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of recent RN bedside experience in an acute hospital setting
- Excellent observation skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BSN or MSN preferred
- ICU experience preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and private payer regulations
- Proficiency in database and spreadsheet analysis, as well as presentation software
- Ability to adapt to change and work independently
