      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review inpatient medical records to identify opportunities for improving physician documentation quality
      - Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and coders to facilitate comprehensive medical record documentation
      - Provide education on compliance, coding, and clinical documentation issues to internal customers
      - Analyze documentation findings and contribute to performance measures reporting
      - Coach physicians to enhance documentation accuracy reflecting service intensity and patient severity

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor of Nursing degree required
      - Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
      - Minimum of five (5) years of inpatient acute care experience, with ICU experience preferred
      - Excellent observation skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Recent bedside nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
      - Knowledge of federal, state, and private payer regulations
      - Proficiency in computer usage, including database and spreadsheet analysis
      - Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate self-motivation
      - Experience in critical care nursing
