What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, interpret, and report on flow cytometry cases
- Utilize and correlate laboratory and clinical data, serving as a consultant to clinical practitioners and laboratory users
- Perform flow cytometry, including leukemia/lymphoma phenotyping and potential minimal residual disease cases
- Review scanned images of smears made from flow cytometry samples
- Provide occasional consultation with client physicians
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree
- Ten (10) years of experience in Clinical Flow Cytometry, leukemia/lymphoma immunophenotyping, and minimal residual disease analysis
- Hold or be eligible for a New York Certificate of Qualification
- Compliance with all ARUP policies and procedures, including safety and biohazard regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
