      Job summary

      Clinical Lead - Band 6 - Ward 4, Harplands Hospital

      There is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Lead within Ward 4, Harplands Hospital.

      NSCHT deliver a shared care service on Ward 4 which strives to deliver a high quality health & social care service that promotes social inclusion & independence for people with mental health and physical health problems. The team is multi-disciplinary, comprising nurses, medical staff, a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist.

      Main duties of the job

      The post holder is responsible for the delivery of care and for the supervision of others who are carrying out all aspects of the caring process. The post-holder will assist in setting and maintaining standards of care, will participate in maintaining effective management of the team and unit and will also maintain effective integration with the multi-disciplinary team and assist with the facilitation of a collaborative approach to patient focussed care.

      There is scope to develop the clinical lead post to work across the ward and the community settings. To enhance integrated care, acting as a bridge between the ward and community team, offering practical and clinical experience in both environments.

      The post-holder will act as a reliable role model for junior staff.
