Corner Place Surgery are looking to recruit a Clinical Pharmacist
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking training practice. Corner Place Surgery is a well-established practice of over 16,000 patients in the heart of Paignton. We take pride in delivering high quality care whilst maintaining sustainable working conditions for the whole team.
Applicants who do not have Prescribing qualification may be considered for training opportunity.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a team orientated and motivated individual who is keen to develop a patient facing role in our practice. The role may include responsibility for specific areas of clinical care and undertaking medication reviews to proactively manage patients with complex poly-pharmacy and support our prescription team with regards to prescription and medication queries. They will be actively involved in prescribing audits, supporting the practice to achieve prescribing incentive scheme targets and reducing workload on our General Practitioners.
We are part of a Federation who have a Clinical Pharmacist in post, who could assist with Pharmacist mentoring should it be required.
