What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, implement, and oversee full execution of assigned clinical trials, often functioning as a global trial lead
- Provide oversight and coordination of operational aspects to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and trial procedures
- Manage project budgets against milestones and collaborate with the trial-assigned Director for corrective measures as needed
- Serve as the client contact at the project operational level and ensure timely entry of project information for accurate reporting
- Mentor other Clinical Project Manager staff and participate in business development activities as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in allied health fields such as nursing, pharmacy, or health science
- At least 6 years of clinical research or related research management experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment
- Previous technical and managerial experience in conducting clinical pharmaceutical research studies preferred
- Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology
- Previous experience in a Clinical Project Manager or Clinical Trial Manager level position preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a relevant field
- Previous Clinical Research Associate (CRA) experience
- Experience managing multi-center, global trials within a CRO environment
- Proven track record in project management within a clinical setting
- Experience in site budget negotiation and management of third-party vendors
