      Job Description

      The Locums Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting quality clinicians for USACS’ national client-base of healthcare facilities. Recruiters are charged with finding, contacting and recruiting clinicians for Locum Tenens (temporary) assignments all over the nation. The Recruiter will work proactively to grow our Locum Tenens service line by initiating relationships with clinicians and introducing them to a locum tenens career with our organization. The Locum Tenens Recruiter will manage the relationship with clinicians from beginning to end. Recruiters will negotiate individual contracts and present Locum Tenens assignments to clinicians in their network.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

      • Proactively contact and recruit prospective Locum Tenens clinicians to establish relationships, understand their needs and qualify them for Locum Tenens opportunities
      • Review new contracts and job descriptions with Account Managers with an understanding of job expectations, timelines, and be able to establish how best to source clinicians
      • Coordinate clinician screens, interviews, and presentations of qualified clinician applicants meeting hospital and state licensing requirements; evaluate clinicians for positions and organizational match
      • Develop and maintain indispensable relationships with clinicians that differentiate SMART in the Locum Tenens marketplace.
      • Documents all clinician activity in applicant tracking system including activities, requirements that support accurate reporting.
      • Educate prospective clinicians on the personal and professional benefits of a locum tenens career
      • Generate leads through various recruiting channels, e.g., text messages, cold calling, referrals, mass mailings, Internet sourcing, social media, and attendance at conventions, strategic planning, and referrals
      • Attend National and Regional conferences, virtually and on-site, as requested
      • Build and maintain unique relationships both internally and externally
      • Strive for continuous improvement and career advancement
      • Performs other assignments and duties as needed

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

      • Knowledge of and skill in using personal computers in a Windows setting.
      • Knowledge of applicant tracking system (ATS, CRM)
      • Knowledge of trade show coordination as it relates to recruiting efforts.
      • Ability to communicate with coworkers, physicians and advanced practice providers, outside vendors and management in a courteous and professional manner.
      • Must be comfortable and capable of extensive communication via the phone, in person and in writing.
      • Ability to effectively perform in a multi-task environment.
      • Ability to process assigned duties in an efficient amount of time and in an organized manner
      • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
      • Strong interpersonal, project management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to make decisions in a rapidly growing, professional, service-oriented environment
      • Strong negotiation skills
      • Outstanding customer service skills, dealing with both internal and external customers
      • Able to consistently meet established production and quality goals and metrics

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University and 2-4 years’ experience in a recruiting, sales, marketing, or business development capacity; equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
      • Experience recruiting clinicians or specialty nurses is highly preferred.

      PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS

      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds.
      • Required to have close visual acuity to perform job

      Salary Range:

      $44,906.00 - $83,076.00

      Salary may be determined on several factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, education, geographical location and requirements stated in job description.
