What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and implement system-wide processes to standardize clinical research operations
- Facilitate research activities through effective communication with various stakeholders and maintain clinical research management systems
- Oversee Human Subjects and Regulatory documents for submission to the centralized Institutional Review Board
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with protocols, policies, and federal regulations
- Provide education and training to research personnel on clinical research practices and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience, including site management and knowledge of federal regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree in clinical research, science, or a healthcare-related field, or 5 years of related experience in clinical research administration in lieu of a degree
- Extensive knowledge of ethical standards and the clinical research process
- Strong commitment to human subject protection and adherence to safety practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with investigators and research staff
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience coordinating intergroup or multi-site clinical studies
- Familiarity with genomics concepts and clinical research workflows
- Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRP) or Clinical Research Associate (CCRC)
- Master's Degree in clinical research, science, or a healthcare-related field
